Dominoze

Gamieon's flagship product: a three-dimensional puzzle game where the objective is to knock down hundreds of dominoes in each level through the placement and manipulation of machine-like objects both before and after the first domino in sequence is knocked down. Dominoze is an all-ages friendly game that utilitizes high end video, audio, network and physics-based technologies, combined with innovative design and versatile game play, to create a dynamic and challenging environment for game players to enjoy. By solving the puzzles, over seventy in all, players can unlock a myriad of hidden features. Players can also utilize the Dominoze Editor, included with the game, to easily create their own puzzles and share them with other members of the Dominoze online community.

Since its initial development in February of 2002 by the founder of Gamieon, almost three years before the inception of the company, the idea has taken a metamorphosis from a simple idea into a full scale commercial product.

GamiEngine

The GamiEngine is a suite of modules that provide three-dimensional video, audio, physics, networking functionality, and game management to Gamieon software. These libraries encapsulate and optimally utilize the functionality of powerful third-party engines, including but not limited to, the OpenGL, CxImage, Newton Game Dynamics and OpenAL engines. Each library is built on an object-oriented architecture with emphasis on robustness, scalibility, and ease of general development. Each module's core and interface were developed in the Microsoft Visual Studio C++ environment. Plans to port the engine to Macintosh and Linux platforms are under strong consideration, as well as interfaces in other programming languages. GNS

GNS, or Game Name Search, is a distributed online game portal service. The GNS service provides the following functionality to clients:

  • Video game name and IP address translations
  • Online searching for hosted GNS-enabled video games
  • Hosted chat room support (graphical interface not included)
  • Real-time product updates over the Internet
  • Generic content hosting
  • Automated webpage generation
  • Support for encrypted exchanges of data
  • Cross-platform client and server implementations
  • Plug-in support for third-party functionality expansions
  • GNS client-side libraries use the OpenGL-style API specification for ease of development and integration into existing applications
Though the functionality is intended for video games, it may apply to any application with similar needs. The GNS implementation does not provide regulate content outside of what is specified in the GNS protocol; nor does Gamieon provide direct GNS server hosting. However, we work with third-party vendors to provide such hosting where applicable.

glAppGrapher

The glAppGrapher is an interactive graphical server that allows clients to indirectly render three-dimensional objects. It is intended to be a debugging tool for software developers who need to visualize aspects of their programs without turning their programs upside-down in the process. This server, in conjunction with a properly written client side, has the potential to:

  • Assist a programmer in debugging a physics engine or collision detection code through the visual output of certain objects and key vectors.
  • Allow the programmer to visualize BSP and other complex trees both topologically and graphically via spheres, planes and meshes, as well as what objects are associated with what nodes.
  • Involve more than one computer.
  • Do all of this in an interactive environment, even if the client process is halted.
